Role and Responsibilities
The Service Project Seller will lead and manage service-related projects, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive operational excellence. This role will act as the primary liaison between customers, service technicians, subcontractors, and internal departments, managing projects from initial scope development through completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage service projects including HVAC, piping, and plumbing repairs, replacements, retrofits, and small-scale construction.
Develop project scopes, estimates, budgets, and timelines in coordination with field and office teams.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure timely procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
Support Dispatch, Service Technicians and field personnel to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues, delays, and change orders.
Review and approve service work orders, job costing, and billing.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure timely invoicing and proper financial tracking.
Maintain customer satisfaction through quality project delivery and consistent communication.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company standards, and applicable codes and regulations. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Translate that understanding into proposals and sales that will enhance customer’s facility while reducing long-term owning and operating costs
Identify problems and propose cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc.) and construction processes.
Proven project management experience preferred, especially in a service or fast-paced reactive environment.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Work Environment
Must be able to work in high pressure situations facing strict deadlines
Combination of office work and field visits to project sites
Travel to client meetings, project sites, and industry events required
Hours may exceed 40 hours per week to effectively perform this position

Education/ experience requirements
3+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC, or related construction/service industry.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent field experience.
