Objective
The Accounting Intern supports accounting operations by assisting with a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable entry and related duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks to substantiate business transactions
Gain exposure to financial statement formation and budget coordination process across markets and functions
Process a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Provide support for month end reconciliation processes
Explore technology offerings that enhance and create process efficiencies or synergies across multiple teams
Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Construction accounting and software experience preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills, both professional and interpersonal
The ability to work both independently and within a team
A responsible, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
Refined time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, in addition to strong math and science skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements
