Objective
The VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Project Manager plays a crucial role in integrating technology and digital tools into our construction projects. They will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help implement VDC processes and technologies on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Point of contact between project managers and VDC in gathering all project information for VDC Designer throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Collaborate with design teams to develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for coordination.
Participate in BIM set-up, standards, and coordination process on projects.
Help set up training on VDC processes, software tools, and best practices, and promote adoption and proficiency across the organization.
Establish early standards for data exchange with entire Project Team to optimize use of BIM for scheduling, quantity take-off, estimating, etc. during all stages of the project.
Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, customers, consultants, subcontractors, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
BIM knowledge and construction technology experience
BIM workflow and process improvement experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Work Environment Considerations
Must be able to work in high pressure situations facing strict deadlines
Most time will be in the office, but some trips to job sites and customer locations are required
Must be familiar with job site safety requirements and be prepared to wear a hard hat, work boots and safety glasses at potentially dangerous job sites
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in virtual design and construction, BIM coordination, or related role within the construction industry.
Project Manager experience preferred.
Piping, Plumbing, and/or Sheet Metal experience preferred.
Associate degree in Drafting Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Construction Management a plus.
Working knowledge of Basic Navis
Autodesk Fabrication CADMep, and PractiRev experience are a plus
